    The project contributes to the promotion of decent work in Sri Lanka by supporting prevention measures and addressing child labour and its worst forms through new, fit for purpose, targeted approaches.

  5. Evidence to Action (EvA): Increasing the impact of research to mobilise efforts against forced labour

    15 December 2019 - 14 December 2022

    The EvA Project aims to produce and disseminate actionable knowledge, as well as to mobilize stakeholders to foster the use of research and evidence in policy and programmatic decision-making to eliminate forced labour around the world.

  6. Integrated Programme on Fair Recruitment (FAIR) Phase II

    This global project seeks to contribute to the promotion of fair recruitment practices globally and across specific migration corridors in North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. Target countries include Hong Kong SAR, Jordan, Nepal, the Philippines, Tunisia and Qatar.

  8. Eliminating Child Labour and Forced Labour in the Cotton, Textile and Garment Value Chains: An Integrated Approach

    The CLEAR Cotton project “Eliminating Child Labour and Forced Labour in the Cotton, Textile and Garment Value Chains: An Integrated Approach” seeks to promote enhanced legislation and policies, to address the basic needs and rights of children engaged or at risk of child labour, and of victims of forced labour, while adopting an integrated area based approach, embedded in a value chain approach including cooperation with local industry and international buyers.

  9. Eliminating child labour and forced labour in the cotton, textile and garment value chains: an integrated approach (CLEAR Cotton)

  10. EQUIP : Equipping Sri Lanka to Counter Trafficking in Persons

    1 September 2017 - 31 July 2021

    The Project aims to reduce human trafficking in Sri Lanka by intervening via a three pronged approach (3P’s) : Prevention, Protection and Prosecution through conducting research and awareness to inform regulations and practice, ensuring fair and ethical business recruitment practices are adopted, improving protection services for identified victims and prosecuting and investigating offenders.
