Sustainable enterprises are key to ensuring progress of decent work, job and wealth creation, just transition to environmental sustainability and inclusive economies and societies, contribute to the fight against poverty.
The promotion of sustainable enterprises is at the heart of the ILO Decent Work Agenda. The ILO Department of Sustainable Enterprises, Productivity and Just Transition (ENTERPRISES) supports its tripartite constituents in promoting sustainbale enterprises and leads the implementation of the ILO technical cooperation in this regard.

The ILO at COP28
The 28th session of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) will take place from 30 November to 12 December 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ILO is co-hosting the Just Transition Pavilion at COP28 and will be supporting constituents throughout the negotiations, in particular with regards to the Just Transition Work Programme.
