The symposium was motivated by the challenges associated with providing migrant workers access to accurate information and support services, a right emphasized by international labor standards and guidance. It explored various mechanisms for delivering information and services through Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs). MRCs offer a wide range of services, from providing information to access to justice and other critical support services.
The symposium also explored the important issue of the financial sustainability of MRCs.
Key lessons were shared by participants from the Asian MRCs with networks established for ongoing collaboration.
